Hello!

I love watching Korean televisions hows, especially variety shows. Since life is full of struggles, I love curling up in bed at night and forgetting about any hardships through laughing. Sometimes, it feels good being in my own little world without having to care about anything at all.

When I first got into K-pop, I wanted to know everything about my favorite idols so I started watching the variety shows they guested at. I watched my parents watch Korean TV all the time, but never paid attention. The "first" variety show I watched definitely surprised me in many ways. It was just so funny and made me forget about reality. After that, I started to watch variety shows for the sake of variety shows, not idols (although idols guesting didn't hurt).

In America, there aren't any shows where celebrities meet to entertain as variety shows do. I can't imagine Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, or Katy Perry ever guesting on a Korean-style variety show. The concept felt so fresh so new. Although some of my favorite shows have been cancelled, some new ones do not disappoint.

Originally, I just started this blog to recap about Abnormal Summit, a show I love very much. No one in my area seems to watch the show so I went to the Internet to talk about what happened in the episodes. However, after realizing that there are many others who like the show but can't watch it because of language barriers, I decided I should help.
